If your home constantly resets to chaos no matter how many times you tidy, organise or declutter… it’s not you.
It's that nobody ever helped you build the systems underneath it all.

A live 60-minute group session with Jess Homer
If your home constantly resets to chaos no matter how many times you tidy, organise or declutter… it’s not you.
It's that nobody ever helped you build the systems underneath it all.
Hi, I'm Jess - @theorganisedbusymum
I've been building these systems for the last 5+ years, staring out in a two-bedroom Sydney apartment, during COVID, with a newborn who had serious kidney issues and no family anywhere nearby. No village. No backup. No manual.
I didn't learn any of this from a book - I figured it out because I had to. And now I teach it because I know it works in the real, messy, exhausting version of family life. Not the Pinterest version.
You're not failing. Your home is missing a structure.
Most of us were never taught how to actually design a home that runs itself. We tidy, we organise a drawer, we do a big declutter on a Sunday afternoon - and then a week later it's back. Not because we're lazy or not trying hard enough. Because we fixed the surface, not the system.
When your home doesn't have the right structure for your actual life - your kids, your hours, your chaos level - it will always drift back. Every time.
"A calmer home isn't about tidying more. It's about building a home that knows how to reset itself — even on the days when you have nothing left."
That's exactly what this session is about. Not motivation. Not a massive overhaul. Just the four core systems that make a home actually work - and figuring out which ones are missing in yours.
What we cover in the session
👉 Why your home keeps falling back into mess — even when you're genuinely trying — and what's actually causing it
👉 The 4 core systems every home needs to run smoothly (and how to identify which ones you're missing)
👉 How to reset your home quickly, without spending your entire weekend cleaning
👉 Real-life home breakdowns reviewed live — so you can see exactly what to change, not just be told what to do
Optional: get your home reviewed live
You can submit a photo or your biggest problem area before the session. I'll anonymously review a handful of real homes during the call — so you might walk away with specific, personal feedback on yours. This alone is worth showing up for.
You wake up and the kitchen is still mostly reset from the night before - because you now have an evening routine that actually takes 10 minutes, not an hour. You know exactly where everything lives, and so do your kids. The weekend doesn't disappear into cleaning. The mental load gets a little bit lighter.
Not perfect. Not Pinterest. Just functional, calm, and yours.
You'll walk away with a clear understanding of what's not working in your home - and the specific, simple steps to fix it. No overwhelm. No overhaul. Just the next right thing.
Honestly, no. I'm not here to judge chaos - I've lived it. The more real your situation, the more useful this session will be. We're working with real homes, not show homes.
Because most organising content teaches you what to do, not how to build something that survives real life. This session is specifically about why your previous attempts haven't held - and what to put in place instead.
Yes - and specifically, yes. I have two kids under 6. Everything I teach is designed to work around kids who don't tidy up, partners who don't always see it, and days when you have nothing left to give.
