Not "messy in a cute way." More like... you walk in the front door and something in you deflates a little. Like the house has a list of things it needs from you, and it never gets any shorter.
You're not lazy. You're not failing. You're just carrying too much stuff - physically and mentally - in a home that was never set up to make your life easier.
You've done a big declutter before, but somehow it's all back
Every room has "that corner" you're actively pretending doesn't exist
You know something needs to change but you don't know where to start
You've bookmarked 47 organisation videos and watched none of them
You're more touched out and exhausted than you let on - and the house makes it worse
This is exactly where the Declutter Dash starts.
The Declutter Dash is a 10-day, room-by-room guide built for busy mums who need quick wins more than grand plans. Each day targets one specific zone - nothing overwhelming, nothing that requires a full day free.
You don't do this in one go. You do it in 10 small chunks that actually add up to something that feels noticeably different.
It works because it starts with the easy stuff first. Decision-making is exhausting - so this guide warms you up before it asks anything hard of you.
10 days. 10 specific zones around your home. Each day comes with one clear task, a bonus step if you want it, and a tick box so you can actually see yourself making progress.
The zones cover the places that create the most daily friction - the spots you walk past and feel that little drop of dread. The guide takes you through them in a deliberate order, starting where the decisions are easiest so you build momentum before you hit anything hard.
It's designed to be done in small pockets of time. Not a big free day. Not a skip bin in the driveway. Just you, 10-20 minutes, and one corner of your home that finally feels done.
One task per day, clear instructions, bonus step included
New in this version - what to tackle once your 10 days are done
Where to start and why - so you don't get stuck on day one
OBM Weekly Planner (Canva template) + Decluttering Cheatsheets
Did you know clutter increases cortisol levels, which means your messy bench could literally be raising your stress?
One of the things I hear most is that people start the guide, get a few days in, and then life happens. A sick kid, a rough week, the motivation drops. That's exactly why I've added something new.
Every purchase now includes automatic access to the OBM community Facebook group - a private space where you can share your wins, ask questions, get unstuck, and do this alongside other mums who actually get it.
The link to join will be in your delivery email the moment you purchase.
Starting 1 July, I'm running a community challenge inside the group where we do the Declutter Dash together, day by day. Buy now and you'll be in the group in time to join us from day one.
The challenge is inside the Facebook group - access included with your purchase
Hey, I'm Jess! π
I moved to Australia from South Africa almost 7 years ago with my husband, a 3 cubic meter container and some suitcases. We then had both of our babies here, during and after COVID, with no family nearby. No village. No backup. No one to call when it all got too much.
That's when the home stuff stopped being optional. I had to build systems that actually worked, not on a good day, but on a sick-kid, bad-sleep, touched-out Tuesday.

I spent 15 years as an architect and interior designer designing houses and luxury hotels, and the one thing that work taught me clearly: more storage is never the answer. Less stuff and better systems are.
Now this is my full-time work. The OBM and everything in it, built around one thing I kept coming back to: a calmer home isn't about doing more. It's about finally having something that works even when you don't.
I help overwhelmed mums stop feeling like their home is a second job, get their weekends back, and actually enjoy their kids, mess and all.
In case we haven't met yet...
